If you're in an all-out spring your ability to be knocked off the ball should be increased and determined by a combination of the attacker's strength rating vs the defender's strength rating. I do like the "stepping into" part. The physicality/shielding is really missing in soccer games.

I just hope the game is more balanced than 13. Attacking Intelligence ruined single-player for me. FIFA 12 was a giant step in the right direction, but 13 felt way out of whack. They threw in First-Touch, but the attacking "improvements" made that seem like nothing. If the marking is better. and the defense actually forces the CPU back more, I will be happy. Fouls would be nice too.
Seriously, so many features again, on gameplay. I mean - it's like EA Sports want to turn FIFA what MORAD is to golf.
Seriously. Stop breaking down the intricacies of the beautiful game, and just let the gameplay flow. It's like they hope that we can name off each feature every time we see it. So instead of when a defender shimmy the ball for a goal kick - that's called a Positional Preventing Corner Kick Allowance Utilization feature or some crap.
Just let the boys play, EA. Name the stuff later for the Little Things Thread - stop disgracing the game by giving it all away and over-extending the feature blast every year.
