I hate the online portion of this game

Im probably not the only one who cant enjoy playing FIFA 13 online. I cant understand why EA dumbed down the defensive AI at a point that every hoof ball turns into a good opportunity, cause all the defenders stay on the same line as the last attacker, and doing so, they have less time to react properly. Impact engine still have its issues, but the biggest problem are the refs. I mean, my players are getting spanked on the pitch and the ref does nothing. Trapping the ball is useless, and the famous defensive burst of speed still happens. Even the strenght is not applied well, as i lost the ball with David Luiz to a Sebastian Giovinco on steroids, by force. The same Giovinco that was running all over the pitch during 90 minutes without getting tired. Cmon EA, why did you make these stupid things? Seems like every year, its a step forward for every two steps backwards. Does you know anything about inertia? I dont think so...

IMO the game is broken just like Madden. Every year EA neglects the defensive side of the pitch/field. I won't purchase another EA Sports title until they put an emphasis on defense. Don't know how any mature sports fan/gamer can find fifa/madden enjoyable.

just wait a few months and there will be less cheesers. i dont disagree with the quality of general online play. you can make a post here to setup games with similiar players though.

its pretty easy-> by finding sim communities for whichever game U would like to play and they will allow U to play in a fun yet competitive environment with likeminded players who are past the bs cheating and exploiting of bugs.

Are the games perfect? by no means, but they are still great enough if played the right way online and/or offline
