well, let me explain why marking is 50-

i was playing with brazilian portuguese language, as it is my first language. in the marking slider explanation, it says that, if you want closer marking, go with lower values, and to a have a more distant marking, go witth high values. so i did it, even thinking it could be strange, and i really noticed during 10 games that cpu was marking better, and my AI teammates too. i dont remember exactly now, but i think the marking slider explanation in english tells something different than in portuguese. as an example, fb positioning, in portuguese is a slider that measure how often your fullbacks makes runs forward to support the attack, not having anything to do with positioning on defense, as i thought it was.

hmmm. Maybe that's something we need to look into. Gonna have to experiment with that.

I went back to the demo to try lowering the marking slider instead of raising it and to me it did look like it made a difference. I know that people who play this more and are better at it will probably try this now but I think it helps the defense seem more competent.

My question would be why they couldn't just say in plain english how they slider works...lol

Ever since I've selected manual through balls, the game has come alive. There's plenty of space to get the ball into, and you really notice when a guy like Pirlo or Arteta are on the ball, they find the space, the ball holds up and stays in the field of play more.

It's been lovely.

If you're not playing this game on full manual, you're missing out on all it has to offer. My only concern really has come down to the imbalance between offense and defense. The new offensive features have totally overwhelmed the already taxed defensive system.

I think it's more of a case where the player knew the pass wasn't for him based on the power and trajectory.

It is always cool to see the awareness though.
