FIFA 12 PC Appreciation thread :)

I thought I would start a thread for the PC appreciation. If your gaming rig is good enough - this is the best way to go about playing FIFA 12. I bought it for the console and quickly dismissed it for PES 12.

Now that I've upgraded my PC, I can truly enjoy the incredible mods from moddingway and soccergaming.

This is the most fun I've had playing a soccer game since PES6. The gameplay mod by Fidel combined with JDs sliders are absolutely incredible.

I'm using regularcat's gameplay mod available at soccergaming. Best sports gaming experience I've ever had, period. No, not perfect: the lack of fouls are an issue with the game for sure, but raising players' aggression ratings helps noticably and it's good enough for me.

I like regularcat's except that the gameplay is a bit too fast for me still. Fidel's so far is finely balanced and he has several options - I chose 5.1 slow, and it fits my eye.

Interesting input regarding aggression - of course there are times (as fifa does) where it feels it's too easy to pass (even on manual passing) because the lack of pressure - so the increase in aggression would make sense.

What are some of the must have mods in your guy's opinion?

I was really into FIFA 12 on the xbox 360 and had sliders setup really nicely to my liking then my 360 RROD'd on me and I built a computer with gaming in mind. Unfortunately life got a bit busy and I never got into it like I did before my 360 died.

It would be fun to get back into it a bit.

I dont use any of the gameplay mods, but I do use the CONCACAF regional patch. Awesome stuff.

Raising CPU teams' defence aggression tactics setting helps with that immensely. Most of my custom tactics have that set at 80+ for teams. That plus raising players' aggression rating definitely helps with the lack of fouls issue.

I agree with this as well. I am not using any gameply mods at the moment but I also have the Euro Add-On and I know there is a patch somewhere that adds names and kits I believe for all the non-licensed teams.

I beleive Origin has a deal right now for fifa 13 for 39.99 might just order it
