This all sounds great... on paper.

First of all let me say I am a big FIFA fan, and look forward to the game every year.

Every year we get excited about new additions and improvements in EA Sports games.
Then, days after release we are all left scratching our heads over the freezing issues, bugs, poorly functioning new features, and general unplayability of the game.

I bought FIFA 12 in February of this year, 4 months after the release and several patches later, and I will buy FIFA 13 in February of next year, also after it has been "finished." I still get a new game every 12 months, but without the issues.

That being said, I'm looking forward to February!

EA should just address the problems in FIFA 12 first.
Some examples are lack of fouls, every player turning and cutting like they are Messi, AI teams all playing the same etc.

Young players also shouldnt start out with low physical attributes like speed and agility. These attributes dont really grow with age and it's either a player has it or not.

I think they are addressing the referee issue by changing up the way the refs referee. I think if the ability for the players to turn quickly can be toned down with sliders then that's fine.

I'm excited about the attacking AI and the free kicks. Hopefully they can put it all together this year.

There was no such slider this year, why would you even begin to think they'll add it to 2013?

100% agree. It's hard for quality youth to break into the squad because they're behind the 8ball from the start when it come to physical attributes.

What kind of question is that? I mean honestly.

Because they're trying to improve the game and listen to their fan base? And a foul slider is something that people have been clamoring for.

Krebstar said a few posts above that if the AI had about 6 to 7 foul calls a game he'd play '12 for a while. He's not alone there.

There's clearly still a possibility for a foul slider. I don't understand why you're so quick to rule it out even though the game is still what, 5 months away?

With your thought process you'd rule out any sort of improvements to the game just because they weren't in the previous iteration of the game, which makes absolutely no logical sense at all.

Like others have said, a foul slider is a MUST. And I'm curious to see what changes were made to Career Mode.

I hope they fix the player progression in Career Mode.

Like people around here have mentioned. Players come in at 16 or 17 years old with Speed and Acceleration attributes in like the 50's.

Yeah sure, kids get faster as they enter their late teens and into the early 20's, but not that much faster!

Stuff like passing, shooting, awareness, etc. should be the things improving more drastically.
