Creation Center Download Packs

Okay... there's no way I can get an answer on EA's forum, since it's full of complaints, so I'll ask here, where people seem to just simply enjoy the game...

I'm a big Creation Center junkie... and I was getting ready to purchase the Creation Center packs that allow me all the extra things, like the ability to download more teams/tournaments to my game, etc.

I've been hearing from people that there have been issues with this. I didn't want to buy them before finding out that they do work for people. I've been getting errors with downloaded content when I've bookmarked more than 4 created tournaments, and I'm afraid that this same issue will happen when it comes to downloading teams or tournaments. The DLC pack bumps up number of teams from 24 to 48 and tourneys from 1 to 5. If I can't download that many because of errors, it's a waste to me.

So... has anyone purchased these? Have you found issues with the errors? Or have you been able to use all of the features that you paid for?

Re: Creation Center Download Packs

I actually bought 3 of the packs (third jersey, creation centre team to dynasty, and licesnsed players) to deepen the creation centre experience and have not had any issues with them yet if that helps.

Got a question for you bud. Currently I am tryin to create a crest/logo and upload it for my teams crest and I am having a hard time formatting it within the size limits. Any suggestions?

128 x 128 px, png format. If you don't have Photoshop available get the Gimp. You can find tons of Photoshop tutorials out there about how to resize images, same goes for Gimp.

This would have been exactly what I would suggest. GiMP or Photoshop should take care of all the requirements. That way, if you find a logo, you can crop it to a perfect square dimension, and then shrink it to 128x128. GiMP allows you to save as a .png as well. I even think that both will allow you to remove the background as well, so there's not a white box surrounding your crest.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to purchase the packs right now. I'm getting them mostly for the extra download space, so we'll see what comes up when I start bookmarking teams and tournaments.

Yeah, layers work in the same way as Photoshop, so you can just delete the background, paste into a new layer and resize.
