Awww yeah just my style. I love how you guys just assume these moves are abused and are used by players with a very low level of skill.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I think you have to be skilled on the sticks to pull them off but what I think Bahnzo was saying was that some of those moves are unrealistic. Take the Ronaldinho juggling for example. That's a training ground move. No one does that in a real match.

I don't assume that skill moves are abused, I KNOW they are abused. Against CPU controlled defenders, skill moves make them bite too hard. And against human opponents, skill moves tend to make the user controlled defender act like they're stuck in quicksand. Besides, only a handful of players should be able to consistently pull off these moves.

2:35 for just one example of the cheesy effectiveness of skill moves. Even for Henry, that's just unrealistic:

More cheese @ 4:09

Bottom line, more often than not, FIFA ends up looking like a game of FIFA Street when these moves start popping up game after game after game... which they do.

You know you're right, but as unrealistic as the game is, it will remain as the #1 seller and never really be forced to change. Trust me, if PES had a few more leagues and more real names and kits, I'd hands down buy it over FIFA. Not having that makes me unsure as to which to get, even when I know the quality of the gameplay is better on PES.

Still confused as to which to buy.

Well do you watch football? "Skill moves" are used relatively infrequently, and if they are, they're used by ronaldo, nani, and a select few others. I agree with everyone else that the overuse of them online is ridiculous and completely unrealistic.
