FIFA 10 Try this if The CPU is constantly all over you

Hi ,
I got this tip from Baa7 due to all the unrealistic cpu boost stuff at key times in the game.
Did you ever notice on higher levels or especially in Tourney mode on Semi Pro level or up you cant even move the ball or setup plays well try this .

Heres what you do under the Tactics section of each team you use in your league or Tourney Change the speed , pressure and aggression to Zero O and then save them and cpu Baaserker mode is gone and teams actually play more realistic and believe it or not with aggression at zero you actually will see more balanced penalties instead of you just getting mugged .
You see by lowering those attributes your actually forcing the cpu to start playing real defense and not boost and thats where the real gamplay and fouls kick in .

Now I did only test these on Tourney mode which has a obvious cpu boost but hopefully they will work for you .

I play with these settings naturally for my controlled squad, maybe I'll
muster up the time to do this for the CPU. It does change the game
around entirely. Most online yahoos simply have these settings maxed
out.

What I do if I have a tourney is just change all Teams as I play all at sometime but when you control that team your still kind of controlling your own attack .
But try it out and youll see great variation with most teams

UPDATE: those changes especially aggression help so much I bumped up to Pro in tourney do to incredible gameplay but ill have to see about fouls now as the cpu got a boost

Edit update : fouls are fine and this is bar my sports game of the year , just very realistic just plain fun

Don't lower aggression to zero. If you do the CPU will never slide tackle or foul you. Max pressure should be 50 depending on the league. Scotland for example is high tempo, long passing end to end football. In Italy you have slow methodical build up based on technique.

You should try it first as it DOESNT work like you think or most do !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its Because you are now making/forcing the cpu play Defense and just not Uber Boost Baaserker mode now they think .

I actually see red card and slide tackles Ect like a whole different game when you lower speed ,Pressure and AGGRESSION
Please try it and you will see a whole different game and teams now play like themselves .

Are you recommending that I change MY team's custom tactics? How does this impact how the CPU plays against you??
