i hope PES still has La Liga and if Fifa wants it maybe they can give PES some more Premier League rights....

^^later in the thread someone links to the La Liga page. There it says, that for now, only EA has the license, which does not necessarily mean exclusive.
And there is another rumour, discussed here and here: It could be, that Konami licensed the Champions League, so all participating teams would be in the game.

rumor has it apparently UEFA are pushing Konami to make the champions league a stand alone game... still a rumor nothing set in stone yet.....although that would be pretty crap if that happened to be true

Actually that's what UEFA asks EA to do. I wouldn't say it's unrealistic to say that they ask Konami to do it.

I don't think EA would do that because it would risk their relationship with FIFA who at some levels "competes" with UEFA. Now Konami on the other hand.....
