Lost all matches after the update

Suddenly I'm not able to win a single fut rivals match, I dunno if there is a lag issue or what but my players just dont react even nearly quick enough and also it's way too easy to score against me on a counter attack because all of my players run forward even if I set them to stay back.

Also what's up with the opponent basically teleporting to where I'm passing? I mean they take my guy out with incredible speed before the pass even reaches him so I'm left with backpassing until I eventually lose the ball due to the super aggressive tracking by opponent and too slow reactions and positioning by my players.

Either the update is making me play harder opponents or it's because I have to play with 82 rated players as I sold everyone to get POTM Auba
