When you promote youth players, do the commentators/announcers pronounce their names or just ignore them?/

Depends on the name + luck...so usually no.

First you have to have a name that the announcers actually say (you can check those using edit player function outside of career mode if you are curious).

Then for some reason 1/2 the time they just don't bother saying the name even if it is one they have recorded...no reason why.

In reality this means at a given time with a full starting 11 of all YA players I typically have 1 or 2 players whose names are called.
