Career Mode post-game crash (xboxone)

Not sure if this has been addressed in the forums or not, but it's happened four games in a row for me. At the end of the game, be it through playing the game in its entirety or the forfeit option, the game crashes. You see the loading pinwheel appear at the center bottom of the screen for roughly one to two seconds, and then it stops spinning and the game crashes. I've tried changing all sorts of things that may cause the issue. Everything is set to default as opposed to messing with things like weather or game ball, but nothing changes. For the past four games, and they've been really good games as well as in different careers (both Everton, but I doubt that's relevant), it's been a significant issue. If it keeps up, it's clearly a game killer. Has anyone else had this issue and is there any kind of work-around?

Edit: The issue started after the end of mid-season transfer window.

Issue started for me as soon as i downloaded the patch.


Game crashed every time after a CM match... they need to do something cause game is unplayable for me now...

Me too. Never happened before the patch.

I've found one suggested workaround. It doesn't work 100% of the time or even close to that, but it's better than nothing. Changing your arena player and goalkeeper prior to loading your career mode eases the problem.

Anybody know if the crash is still there if you erase all your saves and start with a new career ?

It will be a shame to loose the actual career but at least I can play CM !!!

This happened to me once since downloading the patch. Hopefully it stays that way and I won't have to go through the same problem you guys are having. If this happens consistently, that sucks. I hope you guys find a workaround or better yet, a complete fix to the issue. Good luck.
