I know others have seen this but thought I'd share my best to date:

Jack Morris, my 16 year old 67ovr LB...the one with 87 crossing, 82 finishing, 86 accl, 85 short passing, 83 sprinting, and 90 curve. This kid is so a striker, and so his ovr will never reflect his true striker ovr...add to it his stats are going up in mostly attacking attributes. He was a recruit last season, and is near equal to my 81ovr striker. He's awesome.

What are some you guys have seen. Chime in and share. I think it's ridiculous that EA doesn't allow us to change players' positions to one more suited...Gareth Bale started out as a LB for crying out loud.

I agree, you should be able to change the players positions. I have no idea what so ever, why they won't make it possible. It'll make it so much more entertaining.

I have a similar player LB that looks like a striker. I use him as a CDM and instruct him to join the attack. But yeah we should be able to change this.

I started him upfront against Celtic in the CL, and he scored two goals, including an outstanding FK. He is officially my #2 striker.

This issue was prevalent last year too. In the Youth Academy thread you'd often hear people talk about their LB or RB (for example) being a good ST.

I had a youth LB last year that I played in a false 9. Was excellent playing up front. Kid was like 6'3" 200lbs, and had top pace and skills.

Ah man, in FIFA 14 I basically found English Gareth Bale. Nearly identical in height, weight. And his position, his stats. He was Man Utd's version of Gareth Bale.

He started out as a left back and I played him there for a while. But then one game, he just ran down the wing, like Giggsy or something and crossed the ball in and my striker scored the goal. After that, I checked his stats and it was crazy!

Everything green, except marking, sliding tackle, standing tackle. He was like the worst left back in history but everywhere else he was incredible. Check it -

I called him up to the England squad and he would just dominate up front. Best player I've ever found.
