Should I get FIFA 14 (PS4)?

I've been holding off on getting FIFA 14 since I got the PS4 because I didn't want to pay $50-$60 for it. It seems like my waiting has paid off, as Target currently has a deal letting me get the game for $32.99.

The question is, is it worth picking the game up this close to the release of FIFA 15? Or should I just wait another two months and pick up FIFA 15 when it comes out? It is also very possible that I hold off picking up FIFA 15 until the first price drop/sale or the holiday season (regardless of whether or not I get FIFA 14).

So what do you all think? Pay $32.99 to get FIFA 14 now, or wait for FIFA 15?

I wouldn't recommend it. The AI is just awful. They dribble down the pitch and attempt to dribble the ball into the net. Long shots don't exist, and the gap between World Class and Legendary is too big.

I've gone into Team Management and changed teams' formations and tactics to no result, they all act the same. After spending a few frustrated days playing Manager Mode, I decided I'd give up on that and play Be A Pro, only to realize it doesn't have this feature. Of course.

I can't recommend it. Better off waiting for 15.

Hey Eccentric!..I'm a new Fifa player and new to the football world...I'm enjoying Fifa 14 after NBA 2k14 was a disater on Xbox One ,tho as you get better you will need to look into sliders to make the game more balanced...manager mode is fun and addictive and has the Euro championship and Champions League, and some minor cups and World Cup as you progress through your career, I've found the scouting a bit tedious but rewarding and identifying talent in the youth academy has been fun...tho not hitting the boards requests can lead to frustrating terminations...

I gave Pro Evolution Soccer 14 a chance last night...plays well but is a mess outside of actual gameplay, Fifa has all the licensing but does lack immersion in the sense of "not much really happens when you win a cup or championship!", I'm enjoying Fifa 14 and I think you will too with the right sliders, & I'd say for $30 it's definitely worth it, if you decide trade it in for fifa 15 you will probably get some value back anyway...

I would just wait at this point. FIFA 14 was a fantastic game in my books, but FIFA 15 is their second effort on PS4, and I think there are enough subtle gameplay and cosmetic improvements to justify paying full price and playing it for a year.

The only question is can you wait until 26 September. Look on Kijji in Canada you will get it for 20 $. I think Craigslist in us will be the same. I think FIFA is way better on ps4 than on ps3.

I decided that getting FIFA 14 for $33 was too good of a deal to pass up. Hopefully it's trade in value holds up enough to put a decent dent into the cost of FIFA 15!
