Xbox one Co-op and friendlies crash

Does anyone have a solution to the friendlies and co op dash board crash that happens when you invite a friend to a match to play with you. It's a little ridiculous my friend and I have tried everything under the sun connection wise even called horrible EA support and nothing. Everytime we try to connect and play a friendly or co-op online it boots me to the dash. I don't have issues with connection we both tested and it checks out. Have read around it's a glitch, but does anyone have a work around we just bought this game for 60 digitally and it's been a mess.
