This is directed more towards the FIFA vets because I didn't really get into football until about 2 years ago (and thus started playing FIFA games at FIFA 12).

I ask this because of the teams Orlando City FC and New York City FC.

Does that mean FIFA 15 will have these expansion teams in the next installment, especially seeing as how David Villa just signed a 3 year deal for NYC.

I would assume so but that's just a guess.

From what I understand, the new teams would not be in FIFA 15 because MLS will still be in the current ongoing season when the new FIFA game is released and that would be the season played out in an MLS career. Hopefully Creation Centre will make the leap in FIFA 15 and those teams can be added that way.

by "new" teams....do you mean Miami, the 2nd NY team, and Atlanta (i think that may have been a third)?

On a side note, did you guys see NY Red Bulls signed Frank Lampard and the new NYC team signed David Villa?

Based on previous games, it's a pretty good bet the new MLS teams won't make it. Hopefully we see the return of Creation Centre in 15, that would solve the problem quite nicely.

Lampard isn't a done deal, and his deal would be the same as Villa's (contract owned by Manchester City, which would then "loan" him to NYCFC and Melbourne City, both of which they have ownership stakes in).

To keep the thread on-topic, the people above who said FIFA 15 likely wouldn't have the new teams are likely right, based on previous MLS expansions.

Just curious if anyone has heard anything else about this either way?

Whether or not Orlando City is in the game will determine whether or not I buy it, especially after the Kaka signing...

I know it's a ways off and there probably isnt much info on it, but I dont want to even look at stuff on 15 and get hyped if they arent in it...lol
