Constant pressure

Playing manager career mode using Brighton and just can’t seem to beat the constant pressure of cpu defenders. Can’t even make a simple pass because by the time the player I pass to receives the ball he’s getting tackled. This is not every team I play against, but nearly all the EPL clubs. I’m playing on WC using the community sliders. Jumping down to pro removes the pressure but it is just too easy… any tips on how to cope with the pressure?

In real life, there are games that simply you can't cope with the pressure.
But in this game, with one simple dribble you break the pressure, because teams play individual 1 on 1 pressure. Once you dribble your mark, you'll have 2vs1 on the rest of the pitch.
