There is a slider , it’s called adaptive AI. I always put it on aggressive. I think it’s in the coaching setting

There was no update on 1/16. There always server maintenance, but the most recent game update was 12/13/24.

2. CPU run game actually happening throughout the game. And not just like 3-5 yards a carry that i have to make sure happen by calling light boxes to encouage them to run.
I bumped CPU run block up to 69, and they're a lot more of a threat.

Re: The Ratings Matter Slider Project

We have two guys in our dynasty that can not beat the CPU on Heisman so we tried these out to see if we could make it more enjoyable for them. Three of us are beating the CPU by 60+ points every game and they winning by a TD or two.

We tried adjusted sliders on heisman, but it just made it more frustrating for them. Has anyone found a good middle ground?

Re: The Ratings Matter Slider Project

I've been convinced for years (in Madden) that sliders fizzle out once you get deep into a franchise or dynasty.

We used this slider set for almost two full seasons (4-man online dynasty) and it was great, then out of the blue the CPU offense became completely inept. We had something like a 15 straight games vs the CPU where they failed to score 20+ points.

Typical EA issues: they could never finish a drive and only scored a TD if it was a play from 30+ yards out. Plenty of terrible INTs throwing outside the numbers into double coverage. You could call Cov 2 Press Man almost all game and be fine.

We just moved to Heisman. No knock on these sliders; I'm sure if I started a new dynasty they'd be fine again.

Just sounds like the three of you just have a very different skill level than the other two. Sliders isn't going to fix that.

Re: The Ratings Matter Slider Project

Would moving user and cpu reaction and coverage up 5-10 negatively impact any other aspect of gameplay? This slider set is amazing, but wanted to see how it plays with a little tighter coverage for both user and cpu.

I think a slight bump in user run blocking (up to 3) and a slight lowering of cpu tackling to 37 will help balance the running game a little. (I still want to see tfls by the cpu though..)

I also lowered for both sides pass d reaction/ INT/ Pass Coverage and DPI 3 points each.
Played a full season with these changes. Also had fatigue up to 92, injuries up to 65 (not doing that again, resulted in a noticeable increase in plays from scrimmage and still only got 1 Multi-week injury), CPU run block up to 69, and Hum/CPU Fumbles both down to 37.

It was a good season. I had a really good team (I think 92 overall, I only lost 10 players total off the previous year's team). Won the Heisman with my 92 overall QB, who also set a school/Big Ten record for passing yards in a season (4,962), and a school record for passing TDs in a season (47) and Passing Yards in a game (548). Part of that is the increased plays from scrimmage, and playing 16 games. Went 14-2, lost the National Championship Game to Georgia, 17-16.

Overall, it was a fun season. Only thing I'm going to change is dropping injuries back down.

Re: The Ratings Matter Slider Project

Looks like I was right about there being one last patch after the season. I’ll play a bit over the next week or so before posting an update.
