Having a problem with my runner

I have a problem with my runner randomly pitch the ball on pay diet plays or counter plays. Could it be a controller problem? I'm playing on the ps3 version digital copy.

It's a controller problem. I have it too. Somehow if you move the sticks, random buttons like L1, R1 and the arrows press themselves. There is videos in youtube on how to solve it, by cleaning the controller... Once I knew about this I tried to do it on an old controller and I broke it, it's very fragile and it's very hard to build.

If I were you I would buy a controller, or deal with it the best that I could.

Yeah I'm gonna have to do that. Its annoying but what can you do. I didn't want to spend $55 and the problem continues. Thought I'll ask first. Thanks
