is it possible
that an athlete u recruit is a fb, te, or lb? i dont think i've ever seen one.

It is possible. Just started an offline dynasty and there is 1 FB and multiple linebackers in it.

There are quite a few TE and LB ATHs. I don't know about FBs.

There are too many ATHs that would be about an 80 QB or a 70 LB that the game thinks is a LB. This isn't an issue for users, but the CPU uses the default position that the game picks so you'll see a bunch of teams that should've gotten a MONSTER QB, but got a bad LB instead.
