Is a split national title possible in this game?

Yes in a sense. I was South Alabama ranked #2 in the nation and I won the National Championship... afterwards I was still ranked #2 and Bama who played in the Sugar bowl #3 moved up to #1 over me even though I wont the BCS Champ game. Hatred towards the SEC grew more that day.

I haven't had it happen to me on 12, 13 or 14, but I've had split championships 3 times on PS2.

That's nothing! One of my seasons in NCAA 12, the #1 team at the end of the year had only one loss -- the National Championship Game. The #2 beat them, but didn't move up to #1 at the end of the year (they had probably 3 losses).
