Is anyone else experiencing problems with the cpu catching players in the open field? This is happening in my dynasty, im wondering if it has anything to do with my sliders.

Ex: kick return with 99 spd player downfield past everyone and a linebacker will get this super speed burst and catch me at an impossible angle.

Also happens on breakaway anything and i cant get big plays because i always get caught.

If anyone has any ideas, help! Thanks.

Set your speed threshold at zero, this will solve your problems.

If you are still using speed burst and he is low on energy he will move even slower than if you let go of the speed burst and let him run on his own.

I have the same issue with my speed threshold at zero. They puter tackles me right away at everything.

If you use the acceleration ("speed burst") button, the tacklers go into super human speed mode. It is only good for when you are in the clear and sprinting for the end zone, not to get through a hole or to blow by someone.

I think player stamina plays a big role in this. I've been playing the 1st year of an ASU dynasty using BYU14's AA sliders, and through the first 6 or 7 games I didn't have any runs much longer than 20 yards.

Then my OC gets an upgrade that I used to max out the Up Tempo skill (50% increase in stamina). Now in my last 2 games, Marion Grice has TD runs of 68 & 53 yards, and nobody came close to catching him.
