NCAA Football 14 Playoff?

In a recent a recent tweet on Twitter, @EANCAAFootball posted a picture with a 4, 8, and 16 team playoff bracket, and was asking which one you would like to see.

What caught me off guard was they also had a logo made up with the pic that says "EA Sports NCAA Football 14 Playoff" in the upper left hand corner.

This had me wondering if there is going to be an added playoff mode in a future update or if I was just making too much out of this (as I probably am).

I'm not going to get any hopes up, but all three should be an option. Personally, I would choose the 16 teams, but all should be in the game.

I would love to get some DLC with all three options, hell as sad as it sounds I'd easily be willing to pay $19.99 for it without any issue just to extend the game.

A playoff DLC would be the right way to send this series off.

It would be awesome to have a playoff option in the game, but I wouldn't read too much into it. As I'm sure most who follow NCAA know, their Twitter and Facebook pages frequently post polls like this. I'm guessing this is just another poll and nothing more.

Anything is possible, though.

This makes me sad...it seems silly to post it with no interest, but if they normally post things like this...sigh

there is a weird amount of hype implying that this will happen but its hard to rely on EA
