good lord! I just played a guy who kept running the option read on every play. No problem, Except he NEVER gave it to the RB! every time my entire defense would slant/run whichever way the HB was running! QB Spy/ contain qb/ NOTHING worked. Best i could do was manual the safety and hope to tackle one on one. But the game engine is so flawed a simple spin will avoid most defenders in the open field... anyone find a stop to this? this dude ran up 94 pts! It got to be a joke after awhile. But i kept playing to see just how much oF a joke it was... his name was "Option killer" or something like that...go figure

On the playbook screen, press L1/LB to bring up offensive/defensive adjustments. Set the defensive adjustment to always target the QB on option plays. Just keep in mind, you'll still have to tackle him. Or the HB, if he decided to hand it off.

Defensive Adjustments are your friend. Use what is quoted above to slow it down. Also play as the QB side LB to better control the option.
