OD game settings changing

Has anyone else encountered the game settings in user vs user OD games changing?

In a user vs user game last night the commissioner in my league says he noticed that the settings had changed from all American to freshman.

He's talking about the Defense and Offense settings vs the cpu changing. The user vs user settings were still set to all American. He's saying that because I invited him that I have been playing the cpu on easier settings than the rest of the dynasty because the settings in our game last night were different. But when I checked all my settings this morning everything was set to all American (inside and outside the dynasty).
