Re: EA touting "all new dynasty"

I'm anxious to see what's "all new" about it. I don't see NCAA doing the owner mode/AD mode, but I certainly wouldn't mind upgrading a stadium if I turn a small school into a powerhouse. If I can just get a fixed coaching carousel and a spring game, this game will last me long past this new fancy Xbox's release. And after dynasty news, there isn't much more to show than gameplay.

Re: EA touting "all new dynasty"

We'll find out tomorrow what EA has prepared this year. I do think that the NCAA and Madden developers are moving these games in the right direction.

I've spent the past few days going back and playing some of the PS2 NCAAs as well as NCAA 11 on PS3 since that is regarded by some as the best next-gen version of the series. I started a dynasty on NCAA 11 PS3 and had to quit after about an hour because of how slowly the menus navigate. I had forgotten how bad this was. (I didn't get NCAA 12 and played 11 for just a few weeks after its release) The announcement that EA simplified the menus this year is a minor change but a more than welcomed change.

I feel that tomorrow will be a good day for the NCAA community.

Why did you need to make two threads about this?

I'm sure it won't be too different.

Re: EA touting "all new dynasty"

They pretty much tout "ALL NEW DYNASTY" every single year.

A few years ago it meant coaching carousel, then it was revamped recruiting, then ... and then ....

I'll give EA the benefit of the doubt until tomorrow, but the doubt on this series is justifiably high.
