Who cares what they look like!!!
It's a video game and should be about how well they fill the role. Audio presentation in football games has taken a sharp step back this generation of consoles so I would say drop the sideline reporter altogether, hire a new audio team and start anew.

None of those. EA rarely uses Erin Andrews in the games anyways. What's the point of having a sideline reporter if you're not going to use them. In all honesty, I'd rather them get the commentary right, instead of replacing a sideline reporter they never use. But if they're going to replace Erin Andrews using someone from ESPN Rachel Nichols or Wendi Nix gets my vote. But if they could go outside of the ESPN realm, what about Pam Oliver?

I'd take Hill over the others.

You know the NCAA '13 commercial where the Ohio State dad throws the TV out the window after seeing Desmond on OSU?

That is what would happen in my house if I heard Jemele Hill in the game.

who came up with these choices? The OS writer who wrote this? Because they couldn't have picked worse choices. At least pick Sideline reporters. It's as if they just flipped on ESPN, saw the 1st 3 females and decided to make them the choices.

Shelley Smith hosts a college football show and does on site reporting for Sportscenter. She's not a sideline reporter during college football games, she's a journalist.

The same goes for Jemele Hill who has 0 connection to college football. She's a terrible writer who always has a race agenda behind whatever she says or writes and now they added her as the host of First Take to complete the Ultimate Trifecta of worst ESPN Personalities with her, Skip Bayless & Stephen A Smith.

Shannon Spake covers Nascar and some college basketball but again she's a writer.

Whoever came up with this article did a terrible job when considering options. Wendy Nix, Holly Rowe, Lisa Salters, Samantha Steele and Jenn Brown. Those are your 5 options for recognizable College Football Sideline Reporters under ESPN contract. Steele & Brown are the most attractive, Holly, Lisa and Wendy are the most experienced.
