I will be posting this in both the NCAA and Madden forums because it applies to both.
EA has stated that the Madden Cover vote generated a lot of early interest in Madden so why don't they have a Feature vote every year for Madden and NCAA, to be guaranteed for implementation in the next year's editions?
So every year for NCAA and Madden, they start with X number of real community ideas like Spectator Mode, ratings category additions, player progression technique, recruiting system, free agent system, gameplay mechanics, NCAA/Madden collaborations, team management, coaching/play calling effects, camera views, etc and have rounds of votes to decide which feature is guaranteed to make it into the following years game.
It would ensure gamers that EA is definitely listening and implementing their ideas, as well as giving them potentially two new community requested ideas, in each game, since EA football games often share.
To clarify, I am not suggesting that those features be all they add to the games, just that they be the features completely decided by the community.
What do you think?

the fan vote is a marketing tool, so they can generate more buzz and get Hershey's to fork over dollars for a demo
