Speed Recruiting

Any tips on how to recruit in NCAA the fastest way possible? It is just too time consuming right now.

I have the opposite problem. I play the games as fast as I can just to get to the recruiting (I never, ever sim the games though). To each his own!

Re: Speed Recruiting

Recruiting honestly takes 5-10 minutes, more if you have more than 15. Dont use all 35 spots on the board.

keep the board small like 10 - 15 at most than add as you get commits

This. I go through and see how many seniors I have on my team that year. If I have 10-12 then I start off the season with 10 recruits on my board and just add as I get a commit. If I have 13+ seniors then I add 12-15 depending on the number of seniors.

I learned last year to never have more than 10-15 recruits on your board to focus on at one time. Recruiting goes by much faster and you can allot 30 minutes minimum to every recruit on your board if you do it right, even with 15 recruits.

Re: Speed Recruiting

Usually the first week i manually call and offer scholarships to all my players. Then the next few weeks i use quick call on all of them. This usually "Finds interest levels" without me having to do it manually.

Re: Speed Recruiting

I use the 15 on the board approach. Everyone gets 30 minutes. The other 150 minutes go to whoever I need to sway more that week.

I have done the 10 on the board, 1hr per. Once you have a comfortable lead you add another, etc...

Re: Speed Recruiting

if you do your recruiting online it goes WAY faster.

the simple web browser interface makes clicking though a snap.

i feel ya on it being time consuming otherwise.
