Where Can I Find the Meaning of Player Attributes?

Trying to find any information on what each player attribute means.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Haha. Maybe you could also find out what the meaning of life is, while you are at it.

EA has left us in the dark on this for years. People have experimented with different sliders and adjustments and what not and found out what some of them actually do. But for the most part, its seems that no one really knows other than the devs and they won't tell us.

That really sucks they won't say anything about attributes. I'd really like to know what things like Release mean and a few others. Most are pretty self explanatory but just wanted to know a few.

That might be easier actually. The impact of some player attributes also changes from year to year as Tiburon tweaks certain elements to change the way the game plays or animations get triggered.

I'm sure someone like Playmakers would have decent descriptions for what each attribute actually impacts on the field, but this SHOULD be in a game manual or at least on the EA website.

Release determines how effective a player can beat a Press pass defense.

Example 1: A CB with a high Press rating vs a WR with a low Release rating = CB successfully jamming the WR at the line of scrimmage

Example 2: A CB with a low Press rating vs a WR with a high Release rating = WR beating the jam and usually getting a wide open release from the line of scrimmage

Playmakers and GotMadSkillzSon are proabably the best authorities here. You can see their thread on their roster edits that they are doing to get some good indicators.

I think Bumble was tryin to find out but considering he just got hired to EA I guess we'll never know now.
