The Post-Patch Custom Playbooks

What does this mean?

"You have reached the minimum allowed plays for your coaching strategy. This formation was not removed."

What??

First of all, I started over with a new CPB since the patch screwed my last ones up. I chose Army as my base, and I was going to delete all of the flexbones and add a bunch of Ace/Shotgun. I know it sounds ridiculous, but the reason I do this is because Army has no shotgun formations, therefore a bunch of garbage shotgun formations that I'll never use will not be on my play-call screen in crunch time...

But now it won't let me delete the flexbones?? So now I'm going to be stuck with a bunch of formations that I'll never use, regardless of my base. Is there any way around this? Why must I keep these flexbone formations?

You have to have 50 plays. Add ace big, delete the rest

Well, the patch really screwed up CPBs. It's not just Army. I just tried it with LSU's Multiple PB as a base, and it's forcing me to keep a Pistol formation, and I NEVER use the pistol.

Looks like I'll have to go here and find a base PB that has a lot of the formations I use, and just start from there.

I don't know about y'all, but this really irritates me. I HATE having formations that I'll never use in my playbook. It really screws up my rhythm as an offensive play-caller, especially when I'm going no huddle.

Pre patch it went like this:

• Select pb.
• Delete all plays until it says you can't delete any more.
• Add 50 plays you want
• Delete the remaining plays you couldn't delete before.
• Add the rest of your plays.

I don't have the patch so I don't know if that doesn't work anymore.

Dude I know how custom playbooks work. My CPB pre-patch did not have this problem. I was able to delete all of the formations I didn't use.

Yep......just loaded my Custom book and it Jacked it all up. I now have formations and plays that I never added and I'll have to start from scratch.

This is seriously frustrating.

Thank you, I knew it wasn't just me. Good luck trying to delete formations you'll never use, now. You're stuck with 'em.
