EA broke the BCS

Unbeaten Idaho which beat no tough teams all year and also faced like 7 FCS teams... is number 1 and in the championship instead of brutal schedule 1 and 2 loss teams like OSU ORE etc etc

WTF are you doing EA

Re: EA broke the BCS

What year are you in? I heard on Operations Sports radio show that things went fairly well with sim records.

If you are in year 1 or 2 that's weird. However, if it's year 5 or 6 that might seem weird, but with all the parity in college football it isn't out of the question.

Who would have thought that teams like Boise State or Utah would be BCS contenders?

If you are in a 4 Team Conference, yes. FCS Teams become Placeholder Conference Teams in small conferences. They don't count for conference records, but they're tougher than normal FCS Teams, I believe.

Unless he removed some; a conference can have a minimum of four teams or only one in the Independent conference.

Re: EA broke the BCS

It was Year One.

I put all the top teams in a couple tough conferences, then I put the second rate teams in a few more semi-tough conferences, and finally I put some crappy teams in a few 4 team crap conferences.

Needless to say Idaho was in a 4 team crap conference. I didn't do their schedule the AI did and they played a bunch of FCS games not sure - they didn't play one even semi-tough team all year.

Something is wrong! In older versions of the game it would take a long time for a crappy team real or created to get to top positions in the polls and in bowls... that was REALISTIC... even if a team was decent but in a crappy conference they had to struggle to get respect.

This year's Idaho team goes unbeaten in a crap conference with 3 crap teams playing a crap schedule and gets the top spot and a champ. game slot .... no way! They must have done something to the BCS. It takes several awesome years before lower end teams start getting BCS respect.

Yes clearly something is wrong with the division of the conferences. Idaho has improved...they're going to do well against teams like North Texas and Western Kentucky. That is if they didn't lose too many people this past year.
