What do the blue lines mean on the offensive play art?

I know the orange(primary reciever) yellow(secondary recievers), green(motion), red(QB rollout), but I have been unable to figure out what the blue lines mean?

I think it's usually for an RB, and t means they start blocking, and eventually (or optionally?) run the blue route.

No the option routes are semi transparent. Also there are blue routes with TEs to. Also your explanation of of blocking is not always correct either. Because I saw a play with the HB having a blue line on a option play. Its obvious he cann't block anybody from that postion.

I am sure the delayed route is the correct answer now. A lot of plays that will probably be because of blocking, but it is certainly not all the plays.
