Something is seriously wrong with the defensive AI (Videos on pg.19).

I'm playing on Heisman, with CPU coverage maxed out at 100, and the CPU is still serving big plays. Posts, verticals, wheels, streaks, etc are always left open down field. AI DB's are not adjusting like they are supposed to, they still stand around and play an area or zone when nobody is there, when they should be going with the WR. I played a 8 min game with USC vs South Carolina last night, switching sides for offense, and used 1 play for each team for a whole half and threw 4 TD's a piece, literally using the exact same play. Just go play a game calling post/vertical/streak/wheel routes and see how the CPU defenders stick to there zone while leaving wide open WR's down field. Press coverage also seems to be broke. CPU presses, safties aren't there to help up top, they're not deep enough or come too late or something. When I see a press it's an automatic huge play every single time. This isn't supposed to be happening with the new zone defense system. Very frustrating, it's made the game basically unplayable for me.

+1

The games unplayable, its just Verticals against Verticals as the AI secondary won't play the ball in the air. I'm at the point where its disadvantageous to have 3rd and long as the CPU just completes a 50 yard bomb everytime.

Really? You're saying that CPU coverage on 100 is too easy?

I'm playing on default AA and the DBs are killing me with exceptional coverage.

It really sounds like we're playing two different games

The problem is the AI playing deep balls in the air (either on the User or CPU team). Even in 2 Man (DBs playing off) the ball is completed deep as the DBs don't fight for the ball or make repeated huge busts.

^This.

Im on default AA with 25/25 INT sliders and I can barely complete passes longer than 15 yards. Coverage is tight.

Im playing on Heisman and have CPU pass coverage at 100 too and I'm passing all over the place. I just played Virginia Tech (me) vs Alabama who has a loaded secondary in a 9 min qtr game and it was 31 to 14 me at the end of the 1st quarter. I wasn't even calling verticals...

I saw no difference in pass coverage at 50 or 100...

I must be a horrible horrible player. Defenses are challenging me.
