NCAA Football 12 Visual Issues After the Patch?

White unis do not get dirty. Dark unis look great. Same thing as last year.

I could be nuts and I've checked to make sure my eyes aren't having an allergy problem or anything but regardless of whether I let the PS3 default to 720p or force 1080p the text and things to be a tad blurry to me.

Anyone else seeing that? Look at the white text on dark background on the menu screen for example.

It's not just the sun. Just ran a test to get a more definitive result.

OU at FSU (like in the screenshot released by EA) 6pm start time. Here are two shots of my RB in the fourth quarter after 24 carries. It's slightly more difficult to see in the picture but there are faint stripes of dirt within the numbers and the red stripes on the pants, but on the white parts there's nothing. Whatever the patch did has caused the dirt to have a serious aversion to white surfaces. I kept an eye on it throughout the game -- through a range of less harsh lighting conditions-- and still no degradation. Here are my pics.

Also, it looks like field degradation is suffering from a bit of the same problem. It looks like it's there but it's faint. It's like it's covered by another layer of lighting or something.

so is this post patch - or just post release of the game?

I saw someone removed the patch and said nothing changed - is that true?

PS3 version.

Something is definitely up with field and uniform degradation. Also seems to be an issue with lighting overall. The contrast between the players and the field isn't what it should be. Everything also seems a little less sharp than last year. I popped in 11 and it is sharper and the lighting is more apparent.

I also have an 360 and the 360 demo looks better than the PS3 retail version. Not sure if the 360 retail version took a hit as well-- although I assume it did.

Thanks for those pics, that is a great example of what is happening. Maybe they can fix this? Who knows? Pretty dissapointing none the less.

Wow That pixel stuff above there looks terrible. The game at this point has regressed in asthetics.

Don't think the patch has anything to do with it

just did a pre-patch night game with UCLA whites at Florida
Every one of my guys were sparkling clean at the end of the game

and I wonder if the 3D grass is what is causing it to look weird when zoomed out

game does NOT look like the fancy screen shots at all though
