RTG... Help

Wow, this is difficult... I do much better just letting the CPU control my player until I need to override... If I take control from the start, I'm terrible...

Any tips other than just to keep playing?

Do I have to press the catch button to catch the ball? My WR constantly misses them...

Re: RTG... Help

From what I remember, WR is a fairly hard position to play...especially with when the camera is unfriendly.

If you haven't played much NCAA you might try RB first. That way you can still have fun running the ball while "practicing" catching the ball on the occational play the throw it to the RB.

Re: RTG... Help

i either play WR or CB.

WR ain't that bad the only problem I have now is catching the ball.

I dropped a few i should of caught.

Also its like all the pass are throwing with max velocity.

Maybe it was just the qb's on the high shcool was bad but i barely had balls right in my hands.

Ok, I just did a RB/CB. And I think I actually did 5 total plays on both sides of the ball. Em I missing something here?

Re: RTG... Help

It took me almost a week of solid playing to get good at WR. One thing I like to do is lots of slant routes early on when my attributes are low. They seem to be the easiest to catch. Also, bail out on your routes a little early if you're covered close as the QB is likely going to throw the ball before you can even run your route anyways.

I'm playing running back and having a blast. Running around 20 times a game, catching anywhere from 0-5 balls a game, and even throwing out of the wildcat every now and then. I say you should play running back. It is A TON of fun.

Play longer quarters. I'm doing a RB/FS and I get a lot more touches on RB but I also play long quarters.
