Amazon $20 credit for pre-order

Amazon finally comes through with a http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...SIN=B004P8GL60

I've been holding out for a few weeks hoping they'd come through, especially since the early release options are dried up this year for me.

I'm not sure how the 'pre order price guarantee' works for those who ordered earlier, since technically this isn't a price reduction. I guess you could always ask via support, cancel & reorder if necessary.

Yup, I was holding out hope that they'd try to boost sales right at the end.

Plus KMart just added a $20 store credit offer a day or two ago, so perhaps they're matching it.

Kmart always have $20 off coupons for big name games year round.

At the bottom of the fine print: Offer will be extended to all existing pre-orders. Limit one per customer.

Me too. Just pre-ordered. I was going to get the game from Best Buy because I have a $25 gift card for there, but Free Shipping and $20 bucks off makes it worth it not to have to drive 10 miles to the Best Buy closest to me.
