There were times last where teams just absolutely stuffed Oregon's running game. Sure most of the time Oregon's offense was a absolute juggernaut, but there were other times where teams just seemed to have Oregon completely figured out, and they couldn't do anything in the running game.

I will be upset if this is what has to happen to make the CPU call good plays. I do not buy the game to put an extra 2 - 3 weeks into sliders, rosters, and playbooks to get the game to be challenging without feeling cheated.

I also want the game to be ready to go out of the gates but that's not reality. I know that adjustments will need to be made to help the CPU be more efficient with their offense.

I am going to work on this while rosters are completed

Re: OS at E3: NCAA Football 12 Preview

My assessment of NCAA 12, from the videos I saw of the game it looks good. Reading people saying its a polished NCAA 11 is a good thing. If you've played 11 and like it alot you'll prob like 12. Madden got the goods this year cause they had too, NCAA prob be up again in a two years. Every sports game leaves stuff out we wish we had. But I think NCAA dedicated its self to the franchise player two years in a row. I rather have a polished game than a game with issues that can't be fixed. its funny we bitch and moan bout things wrong in the game day 1 and 2 and when they patch its messed up. How about we play for a week and give honest an assessment and instead of complaining because you haven't adjusted to the game.

My main gripe with the game is punt blocking and return. hopefully with the suction removal you can get through the line to block and with the return the players need to stay in their lanes and not form a congo line and play simon says with the returner.

One of the few things I really agree with Ben H. about is the special teams balance. Imagine, if they make it possible to block punts how easily could that tactic be exploited by "savvy" gamers and used online to block it almost every time?

When Ben said something like, "you have to be careful not to make it too easy to block kicks" I agreed whole heartedly, I would rather have no blocks than too many to be honest.

I disagree with that cause there are teams in college that are special team gurus see Virginia Tech. You should be allowed to block kicks not every kick but at least come close . If I'm playing a FCS team I should be able to block two or three punts or two or three fg. See ricky sapp he lead college fb in block fgs his senior year. they are holding back the excitement of special teams leaving the kicker and returner to score.

Yes there are teams that are really good at getting after the kicker, but they are pretty few and far between. Last year there were 273 blocked punts/field goals in college football, or about 2.275 per the 120 teams over 12/13 games. 73 teams got all of those, so almost 50 teams had no blocked kicks. So yeah blocked kicks happen, and it would be great if they were more accurate in the game, but it would get really old if guys figured out how to block a kick or more every game.
