We can we expect true to life football gaming(no bashing)

Presentation wise, at least pre game presentation for NCAA is as about as real as it gets besides seeing announcers and what not but as we know GAMEPLAY IS MORE IMPORTANT?

So my question to you all is do you think next gen systems will provide a considerably more realistic football experience?(gameplay wise)

Its getting better every year and I really don't see them trying to completely redesign the game onto next gen like they did last time. That decision really hurt them and I'm sure they realize it.

It'll never be perfect but they probably need to get rid of the engine they're using now before they make any significant progress.

Gameplay wise it looks the same year in and out and plays the same. I think it would be wise of them to implement a physics based engine but not as ragdolly as backbreaker.

And I'm sure they will, but that is more of an improvement on what they already have than a complete retooling of the game. Also, the game now is significantly better than it was before ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2u4pNruEmU ).

Gameplay is very different year to year. Go play NCAA 07, then 08, then 09, then 10, then 11. You will notice a difference between each one right away. 07 and 11 were the best two while 10 was easily the worst.

I think most people have distorted memories of games from the past. In most cases, both gameplay and graphical stuff sees a pretty significant bump from year to year.

It's like when you think about back in the day with Tecmo Bowl, or Bill Walsh '95 or something. You remember those games as being fun as hell, but when you go back and play them today...Garbage.

Exactly. Tecmo Bowl got me into video games as a youngster but I doubt it would be playable for me now
