winngin the heisman trophy

what u gotta do to win heisman. ??? it seem like all the other guys have unbelievable, unlife like stats like a wide receiver who was in 3rd place, he averaged 232.2 yards per game. how is that even possible???....

Won it with a WR in year 1 as Purdue. Guy had roughly 100 catches, 1750 yards, and 16 TDs.

I've found that you often need to be on a team that plays in a conference championship game. I've been the leading candidate many times with a Big Ten team (I had a guy on Michigan rush for over 2,000 yards his senior year) but lose out because a guy from the Big 12 or SEC played an extra game.

Re: winngin the heisman trophy

I have no idea. I have a running back in my Auburn dynasty that is currently a senior. He was runner-up his freshman and junior years with unbelievable stats. Didn't even get a sniff his sophomore year. Here are his stats

Freshman = 2348 yards, 32 TDs, 5.8 yds/carry
Sophmore = 1678 yards, 24 TDs, 4.9 yds/carry
Junior = 2769 yards, 38 TDs, 7.1 yds/carry

Now in NCAA11's defense, his junior year a WR from SMU won it that had 249 catches for 2498 yds and 28 TDs. Not that realistic that someone has 2500 receiving yards in one year, but if he did he should probably win the heisman. He was a 95-ovr receiver (redshirt senior) playing against C-USA competition so maybe, but seems pretty unbelievable to me.

I won one with a WR from Arkansas State, was a JUCO recruit, I think in year 3 he won it. He had something like 170 catches, 2500 yards, and 26 touchdowns.

I know, I know, unreal stats, but he's all I had as I was Arky State, and he was 6'7".
