Benefit from Mass Subs

Does your second or lower team get extra off-season training or any other kind of bonus if they get playing time through mass subs? Or is the mass subs feature just there to protect your starters from injury in blowouts?

since the newest tuner pack, when using mass subs i still see most in season progression going towards the starters. it might have something to do with performance during the game, but most times my back up RB will still do really well and only one time a season did i see the back up get a bump. this might have been just my dynasty though (6 star north texas)

Re: Benefit from Mass Subs

in all honesty i don't think it does anything for progression, the things i do think it does is protect starters from injury when they don't need to be playing, and helps keep people from transferring away from your school if you are a bigger school with alot of depth. plus i use it to prevent myself from running up the score, because with the sliders i use and the difference in ratings between my starting OL and back OL is so big it makes it hard to just move down the field and score at will.

yeah the injury thing is why I use them, I would die if my starting QB went out for the season while I'm up by 35 on FCS West

yep...I use them to protect the starters, but in all actuality, I dont do the mass subs. I manually sub in players. I dont know if its been changed from the past patches or tuners, but when I did mass subs, sometimes I would see my starting RB, being subbed as a second team MLB....kinda defeats the purpose especially in a position that he is probably more injury prone at
