While I love this version of NCAA and appreciate the hard work of the developers the latest patch seems to have a host of problems. I am wondering if at this point it may have been a mistake to have released it this soon,

1) CPU RB still cuts back to the middle of the field far to much and covers the ball in the open field.
2) Zone coverage remains horrible.
3) Not sure that anything with K and P is really better.
4) play action glitch
5) and for some unknown reason not including some type of fix for the CPU depth chart problems.

I am hoping for a third patch to fix the depth chart but I know it is unlikely. Too bad the patch could not have done more for the game.

Agreed. I think they needlessly rushed it out too soon. They should have waited to fix more of the significant problems (punt and kickoff return blocking, play-action effectiveness, scheduling bugs, etc.)

I disagree with two parts, kickoff return blocking and play action effectiveness.

I have returned several kickoffs on AA. Play action passes WORK...you have to use them sparingly and not when the CPU is blitzing heavy. I have thrown plenty of PA touchdowns. THe scheduling stuff should have been fixed so I agree with you there. Also depth chart issues are a problem, not sure if thats a tuner thing tho.

Lol. Play action is broken. Sometimes your guy will block for half a second. My favorite is when my lineman is shuffling and the blitzing LB just runs past him as he continues to shuffle.

Play action is broke, no doubt. On Heisman it's almost a joke.

PA is a total joke on Heisman. I stopped calling them all together. 80% of the time I was sacked before I turned around. The RT's all let the DE blow by them on every passing play.

Mostly patch 2 was botched because they didn't patch schedules and other dynasty depth chart issues with the CPU. I can tweak some game play issues with sliders, I can only fix a few of the schedules in year 1 and I cant go take control of every CPU team to fix their depth chart and to stop them from hoarding certain positions.

Don't agree it was botched, but I do agree the CPU RB logic could use some more work, they are still protecting the ball without anybody around too much and still are drawn to the middle of the field at times. I also wanted to see the CPU depth chart issue fixed as well. Kickoff blocking and punt blocking is still weak, sure I have taken a couple back, but the CPU can't even come close because of the blocking.

The reason I say it wasn't botched though is because despite some things still being lacking or not being addressed, I still think it plays better after the patch and tuner, even if it isn't by a significant amount.

I've found the game is MUCH easier, which is not a good thing. CPU seem to be idiots and react awful.
