Same here.. but i feel madden 2011 has the same problem.
I believe the locomotion seems to be the reason why they look like that more than ever.

Itīs funny because locomotion should make movement and motion more realistic rather the other opposite.

I agree and it makes sense to some extent in that the offensive player knows where they are going (obvious advantages in inclement weather games for footing/planting) but it's still a little overpowered for the offense right now.

This looks like a carry over from a problem in Madden 10.

The Right Tackle is a swinging gate vs a user controlled edge rusher.

I played Texas-Oklahoma on AA, using Oklahoma.

Here are the ratings of the 2 Texas Tackles

LT: 90 Overall, 90 Awareness, Pass Block: 87, Pass Block Strength 80, Pass Block Footwork 90

RT: 90 Overall, 88 Awareness, Pass Block 88, Pass Block Strength 84, Pass Block Footwork: 86

--They are pretty much close to being the same type of player. The RT is stronger the LT, but the LT has a slightly higher awareness and foot work rating

Oklahomas DE's

LE: 89 Overall, 81 speed, 82 strength, 81 Block Shedding, 83 Finesse Move, 79 power move

RE:88 Overall, 73 speed, 84 strength, 82 Block Shedding, 68 Power Move, 82 Finesse Move.

LE is more of a speed rusher, the RE is stronger (yet he has a low power move rating? odd).

--Im able to blow right by the RT nearly at will..with the shoulder dip to the outside, or in..Im not even snap jumping, I just dip right on by him...once in awhile I'll get shoved down, but virtually very time..I can whip the RT very easily.

The LT, he stands his ground much better..he takes a good angle and tries to ride you wide if you try to go outside, and I actually had to make a counter move, and mix it up, more often then not.

If you flip the DEs, you get the same results. The RT, for some reason, cannot get into proper pass protection position.

I know this from first hand experience in my Madden 10 online league. The league leader in sacks is a user controlled Mario Williams...flipped to the Left side, so he can go up against the RT.

When we played, he was bursting into the backfield with ease. I have two 97 rated offensive tackles.

Its a definite AI soft spot.
I've noticed this as well. Pretty much every demo matchup I've played I've noticed that I can get pressure at will going up against the RT. I'm going to monitor sacks in our OD to see how this shakes out. It could get scary considering they improved the front 4's pass rush.

I don't know what game you're playing but I have had tons of missed passes an overthrows, They happin often if you try to aim your passes. So you must just be pushing the pass button

I love the demo and can't wait for 7/13.

One minor complaint is switching players in pass defense when the ball is in the air. It doesn't seem to switch me to the player that is closest to make a play on the ball.

For example, ill be playing cover 2 in nickel controlling the mlb...Cpu throws a fly, instead of switching me to the CB running step for step i mite get switched to the safety playing over the top... I dunno, i just often find myself saying why did i get switched to that guy.

Finnally someone has the same problem as me. I've been playing NCAA games for ever but your right this games seem a little off when it comes to switching.... I hate when it's a deep pass an you have like 2 seconds to switch to a defender so you click it thinking you're gonna be one defender an you run off in the other direction missing the play.

Yea, it can be frustrating... especially when u think ur gonna be switched to a player u can make a play with only to be switched to someone that can't do anything.

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

1 HUGE positive and 1 POTENTIAL negative.....

I played UT vs OU on the demo just now and one thing that I LOVE is that a power back is no longer useless. I put Cody Johnson (FB #31) at starting RB just to try it out, and it was a thing of beauty. In past years this player would be completely ineffective but I was somewhat successful with him even running against OU. he didnt break any long runs but was effectively getting 4-5 yards gains, and would fall forward on tackles vs smaller defenders. (This is a HUGE upgrade IMO)

My potential negative is with teams that run a no huddle. Obviously OU did this against me and they had a 12 play drive. During the course of this drive (all no huddle), they had to sub in 3 CBs at WR. I like the CPU running no huddle but I don't want them to do it at the expense of having their WRs taken out of the game. This could lead to out of whack stats with 2-3 CBs catching passes every game, also it is unrealistic.

Overall i love the game and cant wait to start my OD!!

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

Played this for like an hour today and the thing I was most impressed with was this:

Every single time the situation called for it, the receiver made sure he got a foot in (Most of the time it was the stop at the sideline and lean over it while keeping feet in animation). Without fail. Every time. It was magical.

I don't know if that's been said in the billiondy or so pages of this thread, but it's what stuck out most to me. I was just floored.
