lol, I thought auto sprint was default. I'll give it a try. I won 28-0 with no sprint button? lol

A couple more positives/negatives:

+ I really like the improved in-air collisions and wrap-swats by the defenders. Much more realistic.

+ I also like the amount of and variety of screens (bubble, PA bubble, flanker, slant/screens). Nice work EA!

+ Player models are maybe the best of any football game.

- For the Florida fans: EA took out the Counter-Trey. I like that they put in the Pistol and I-Formations, but wonder why they got rid of the Counter-Tray. I can see Florida dialing that one up with Rainey or Debose this year. Percy killed teams on that play (IRL).

If anyone is having a hard time getting pressure with there front-4, go to Gameplan and bump up the DL play to Aggressive. It's not cheesy, but gives it a little more realistic feel. Just a thought.

Also, moving the R-Stick down makes the ballcarrier chop his feet/high step similar to what All-Day does. Pretty cool. Using the R-Stick for spin moves is pretty nice too.

I definitely agree. I played with this feature ON during every game of last year's version. I left it off in the demo initially, but discovered that it definitely needed to be "on" again to see any kind of success in my opinion.

strangely, the only games I've lost in the demo have been when I played on Varsity.

Hate to keep quoting over and over, but I thought that last year's game played best on varsity with adjusted sliders. It allowed for the CPU to make enough mistakes, but could still keep the user surprisingly honest with the right slider adjustments. Varsity has been my preferred level on this year's demo as well.

It's always nice to see some people recognize this. A lot of people see varsity and immediately scoff at the idea.

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

I played all the matchups, and not once did I fumble the ball again (unlike my first game I played where I fumbled 5 times.)

Last game I played was Florida v. Florida St. with me playing as FSU. I threw an INT right off that bat and got down 7-0 quickly. Next drive, I marched it down and scored on a sweet QB roll out pass to the TE right before I got hit. Thought it was funny that the game recommended I run an option play for a two point conversion in the first quarter, but I thought what the hell and did it and succeeded. Good thing since the final score was 8-7.

Coolest thing I saw was on 4th down with just a minute left Florida on the 10 yard line, was their QB overthrowing a wide open receiver in the end zone. As soon as the ball was released I thought for sure they had a TD, but it was beautiful watching that ball float over his head out of bounds.

EDIT: Just answered Number 2 myself! Still would like to know Question 1.

Thanks.
Florida asked EA not to put them in the demo or the full game.
