Now that NHL has a real time physics engine, do you guys think this will translate to Madden and NCAA?

I am very excited about this possibility.

We can only hope so. Although so far the guys working on Madden/NCAA haven't seemed to be following in NHL's direction.

I'd be shocked if they did this for next year in NCAA/Madden. Like jaw hitting the floor literally shocked.

Madden 13 or 14 MAYBE

I expect it in Madden 12 at least maybe NCAA 13. It makes sense that the smaller game would try new things out. I know NHL plays better but it sells less copies than Madden.

Next year is probably a little unrealistic.

I really hope its next year, but I would be surprised as well.

It does look like the sports gaming industry is finally moving away from canned animations though. It reminds me of when we moved from sprites to polygonal players. This is the next evolution in sports gaming IMO.

I doubt it, especially with the football folks just introduction the locomotion system.

I really hope its next year, but I would be surprised as well. It does look like the sports gaming industry is finally moving away from canned animations though. It reminds me of when we moved from sprites to polygonal players. This is the next evolution in sports gaming IMO.
