This has to be fixed. It's still amazing that it was already in previous versions and working fine then, poof, it's broken in ncaa 10.

im wondering how they screwed it up then didnt patch it. i'd like a dynamic/progressive fatigue that causes your players at the end of the game to not reach 100% even after a timeout, but im not sure if they could implement it the same way as a fifa.

some people suggested that is what made it into the game last year but it was just flat out broken. plus id like to see a bar that doesnt necessarily have to be numerical, keep the color code on the playcall screen if they must, but give me a bar on the pause menu

How exactly was it broken in 10? My RBs got tired all the time so did my QB if I scrambled too much on a drive. On the defensive side it was rare, but it did happen especially with bigger players like my DTs. Whatever issue the default settings had could easily be fixed by going into "auto subs".

I don't know what game you were playing, but I never saw any defenders get tired. Size does not go into the equations because progressive fatigue is controlled by the fatigue rating. The only offensive player that actually fatigued was the RB after five or six straight runs. Fatigue is broken because only one position would be affected: the RBs. Even EA said they could not fix the fatigue system in a patch because it was majorly bugged. Also, auto-sub is also an innefective feature because no matter what the sub-ins and outs were set at, player still rarely subbed out. For the average player, auto-subs is way too complicated. Even so auto-subs is still an crappy band aid over a gunshot wound called progressive fatigue.

I must have got a different game then. Sub in/out at any position works perfectly not sure where you're getting that it doesn't. People just want to turn the game on and have everything done for them if you use the options provided they do work.

Yes, a feature such as fatigue should work out of the box. In previous years fatigue was fine, but EA decided to change it to progressive fatigue used in FIFA. Like I said above, auto-subs is an indirect way to fix a major problem with NCAA 2010. Maybe my knowledge of auto-subs is terrible, but I think both features should work, not one used as a crutch to fix the other. Progressive fatigue is a problem that needs to be addressed and fixed (hopefully it already is), but do not say it works after editing the auto-sub options. It should work regardless.

It's actually better to use auto-subs because each gamer can tailor it as they see fit and again I just played a game and they work perfectly.

Again, not arguing that auto-subs is a good feature because it is with correct settings (something I have not found yet and would want a good set), but fatigue should at least work in default settings. In a play now or online game, fatigue is a non-factor. IMO, fatigue is a needed working feature for realism and immersion. I still don't get how fatigue works in 09 then suddenly is majorly bugged in 10. It needs to be fixed, so it can work unaided by auto-subs.
