NCAA Football 11 Blog: Pregame Entrances

I'm hoping that with the new addiction of the player entrance's, EA hasn't taken out Script Ohio for Ohio State.

This is pretty great, but the one thing I find baffling is that between so many team entrances involving running through some sort of band formation (most famous is probably Tennessee's T) combined with the fact that they have models for the marching band from the pre-game in NCAA 2010, why isn't it there? None of the teams in the video had it, and I know for a fact that at least UT and Auburn run through a band formation. Someone dropped the ball on that one.

That said, it's still an improvement and hopefully they will build on this in the future.

I was just watching the video and not really paying close attention but this is actually looking amazing. I know I am jumping on the hype train but I can't stop, this game is looking great. I hope I don't regret jumping on in July

This looks real good. But I doubt they'll have Arizona's entrance in due to our lack of football tradition.

Hopefully they'll have decent generic entrances for those teams that didn't get theirs in to the game.

Easy, the same reason the sidelines look like they do, graphics. They don't want them to take a hit so they left those things out. Same reason you probably won't see the whole team run out onto the field. And if they do have the whole team somehow then that explains it even more why they wouldn't have the bands and whatnot.
