You can also super sim kickoffs. I did that alot last year and I have seen in the PS3 patch thread and sliders thread by Trinity(I think) he super sims the kickoffs and seeing no adverse effect. If it comes down to it I will raise the run blocking and sim the kicks if that what it takes to get a strong ground game from the cpu.

I was just in practice as Michigan....A corner back intercepted a fade because Forcier overthrew the ball. A tear came to my eye....

Man I am loving the sliders on heisman

And the speed on heisman has been toned down.

I lower the cpu run blocking to 65 and raise my rush defense from 0 to 10

the hokies are running all over me...and I am loving it

I will say that I do like having Pass and Rush defense in separate sliders as opposed to having "awareness" control everything. I can now tweak those sliders to improve the ONE area where I think the CPU is deficient/overpowered without screwing up the other. I am still seeing some inconsistencies with the Pass Rush, as Florida State was all over my QB, yet I had days to throw against UCLA, I want to find a little bit better middle ground.

I've supersimmed kickoffs for 3 years now.

I have a game tonight against USF in the Big East with PSU. Will play on the AA sliders default and see how that goes. I may have to move up to Heisman, though I tried a few series' on Heisman against Memphis and that didn't go so well...was back to my 1 and 2 yard rushes vs 4-6 yard rushes, and more than once a DT took Stephfon Green down from behind on tosses, which tells me the speed cheat the CPU gets on Heisman is still there.

Funny stuff man!!!

Man I just can't believe how much better this game has become with this patch. The penalties which I had turned up post-patch will have to be turned down drastically. I was already getting a pass rush but now it's really good.

Good job to EA for making a good game a lot better and in a timely fashion. Peace!!!!
