That response is especially funny to me because I won every game I played (5, alternating between OU and UF)...I figured someone would pick on the sarcasm...

But it's clearly not the same game.

On '09 I could run around with Tebow in the backfield from sideline to sideline every play, and then throw lasers downfield with ease if I wanted to. You can't do that on this game, you just can't. The coverage is a TON better. Sure, guys might still catch the ball, but they don't have their man beat by 10 yards 3 seconds into the play, and the defense will occasionally make a play on the ball and come up with an INT. The elimination of the speed differential impacts gameplay for the better in so many ways that it's impossible to even articulate fully. The tipped passes and lame duck throw out of sack passes add an element to the game that wasn't there at all last year.

Argue that you don't like the game, fine. But there's no way you can argue that it's the same as '09. There's just no way at all.
This.

I think you guys might want to go back and actually play '09. The difference in the speed alone is huge. I'm not talking about overall game speed, I'm talking about the fact that players with elite speed are no longer super easy to get outside and make big plays with.

In terms of getting pressure on the QB, are you guys looping the defensive line (DL adjustment, up on the right analog stick)? That makes a noticeable difference.
This.

Guys, this game is far better than NCAA09 with the patch. After playing for about 3.5 hours straight (Heisman), it's not even close to '09. There are so many new additions, upgrades, improvements, tweaks, etc. that I am very happy with this demo and overly anxious to get the retail copy.

Florida's playbook is just wonderful. I really like all the wrinkles, formations and formation options they included. Of course it's still missing two plays I really want in this game (Option Reverse and the Shovel Pass-Speed Option), but I am digging all of the additions they put into the UF playbook.

NCAA10 cannot get here fast enough!

Did you feel like this as soon as you started playing or was this over time? My initial reaction is not very good. Maybe the Heisman (good) players see a lot of nice improvements for them but I'm just average. Plus I don't exploit holes in NCAA '09 and with tweaked sliders could get it to play fairly well. My biggest beefs with '09 were the lack of a cpu deep passing game (fixed) and the lack of a cpu running game (unknown at this point). I just was underwhelmed by this demo.

Oh, no. I got a warning! I was only mocking some of the folks who have been so negative over this demo. IMO, it feels much improved from 09. I deliberately scrambled around with Tebow and noticed that the defensive containment and pursuit is way better. I loved the deep balls thrown and had a lot of overthrows in my games made by the CPU and myself (I was playing the PS3 version). I also noticed some effects from the strategy thing they added this year. Still had problems running out of the spread though.

the demo is just that a demo....last years game played differently from the demo and hopefully this years game will too

there are positives and negatives to this game like there is every year

one thing is for certain...wide open gameplay is gone

Never mind... its still in the game, just really hard to do. EA if you are reading, include this in the patch PLEASE....(along with the other stuff the guys have noticed)
