Re: NCAA Football 10 Info

I really hope the passing and passing defense is overhauled. I love NCAA, but that is the worst part of this years version. Most of the time in a game on any difficulty I'll only see a dozen passes actually hit the ground total, the rest are either caught or intercepted. The problems are:
1. WR's make ridiculous breaks at full speed on poorly thrown balls.
2. In Man coverage the offense is by default faster than the defense and will almost always get open.
3. In zone coverage defenses don' t react quickly enough. A WR can find a hole in the zone and sit in it for 4-5 seconds with a defender 5 yards behind him, and that defender won't react to him at all until he catches a pass.
4. If a defender does get in position, 90% of the time its a pick. In real football the reverse is true, it should almost always be a broken up pass. MLB's cannot jump 5 feet in the air with split second decision making 5 yards off the line of scrimmage and catch a pass that is bulleted. They may get a hand up and tip it or deflect it, but not catch it. A corner covering an out pattern well (right on top of the defender) will get a hand in and break the pass up almost every time... only occassionally will they actually pick it off (as opposed to NCAA where its a sure pick 6).
5. Defensive players don't run every turnover back for a td. In 2009, once a defender gets his hands on a ball he becomes almost unstoppable.

I really like the game, thanks for the info on 2010. Hopefully these critiques can help make 2010 even better!

No, EA doesn't read the BRING back part, instead opting for, "NEW FEATURE." Haha. This is sarcasm, but well, based on some truth, especially when they bump up to the next gens.
